Chapchai Nirat,born 5 June 1983 is a Thai professional golfer.

Chapchai is the son of a Thai national team golfer, and turned professional in 1998 as a young fifteen-year-old. He won for the very first time as a pro at the 2004 Genting Masters in Malaysia. He joined the Asian Tour in 2005, and had a second-place finish in his rookie season. In 2007 he won the TCL Classic, which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour and the Hana Bank Vietnam Masters. He was the third Thai to win a European Tour event.

In March 2009, Nirat shot 32-under-par over 72 holes to claim the SAIL Open, setting a new Asian Tour record for the best 72-hole score.

Chapchai holds the world 72-hole scoring record with a stunning 32-under-par 256 winning total at the SAIL Open in India in 2009. • He also established new scoring records for 36 and 54 holes on the Asian Tour en route to an emphatic 11-stroke triumph at the Classic Golf Resort. He carded rounds of 62, 62, 65 and 67. He ended a five-year title drought when he defeated Filipino Antonio Lascuna in a play-off to win the Worldwide Holdings Selangor Masters in 2014. He came close again to winning at the CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters in 2015 but was defeated by England’s Lee Westwood in a play-off
