Danthai Boonma

 
Danthai Boonma was born on January 23, 1996 (age 21) at Phitsanulok, Thailand.

He was Idolised by Tiger Woods when he was growing up and started to play golf after following his father to the golf course as a young kid.

In 2016, Danthai enjoyed four top-10s, including two tied third finishes at the King’s Cup in Thailand and Mercuries Taiwan Masters and a runner-up finish at the BANK BRI-JCB Indonesia Open. Underlined his potential by winning the 2015 World Classic Championship at Laguna National in Singapore in his rookie season. Defeated Nicholas Fung of Malaysia by one shot.

Danthai made a strong start to his professional career by finishing tied-fourth at the 2014 King’s Cup after turning professional earlier that week. He is also a double gold medalist at the 2012 South East Asia (SEA) Games.
