Monday 12 th – Green Valley – Stableford – White Tees
1 st – Peter LeNoury - 43 points
2 nd – Alan Rothwell - 41 points
3 rd – Marco Watkins - 40 points
4 th – J.P. Thomas - 39 points
5 th – Nat Meesuk - 37 points

The headline should read “Tommy Balch wins!” as our buddy Tom
finally see a return on his investment with a Caddy Smile near pin. It

has been a long time since Tom gained from the collection plate and
good to see his perseverance pay off.
Back to the Stableford comp, a crowded podium with 5 places up for
grabs sees recently retired Nat Meesuk (yes, that’s our former
manageress) make a comeback with a 37 point card for fifth. We had
eight groups out, and on top of the heap, stalwart Peter LeNoury had
a massive 43 for a decisive victory here today. Nice shootin’ Pete!
Tuesday 13 th – Khao Kheow – Stableford – White Tees
1 st – Doc Beard - 37 points
2 nd – Kenny Aihara - 36 points
T-3 rd – Jimmy Brackett - 32 points
T-3 rd – Nick Fazakerley - 32 points
T-3 rd – Steve Ellison - 32 points

Front nine, hot and no wind. Back nine, overcast and breezy so a
tough slog on the front ended up to be a beautiful day at Khao

Kheow. The course was in great shape save for minor construction
on a few of the tee boxes where they are putting in new stairs and
seating for our benefit. A temporary inconvenience for a permanent
improvement! There were elephants trumpeting in the background
on the B course where there is a camp near the Open Zoo. Not too
many golf courses have that as a feature!
Jimmy, Nick and myself scraped together 32 points for a third place
tie with Doc Beard besting us all with 37 on the card. Hey Doc, you
didn’t just beat the other 25 guys, you finally beat Kenny!

The Golf Club is “The Home of Golf in Pattaya” and located in the Heart of
