The 27-hole - - Mountain, Lake and Creek nines - - Laem Chabang International Country Club is located in Sri Racha, approximately two hours away form Bangkok and is well worth the visit. The rolling hills of the surrounding countryside have been used to great effect, and hazards to stop you reaching the large elevated greens are in abundance. Not only does the course have a lot of bunkers, sand traps and water hazards, there is also a lot of natural hazards in the shape of exposed rock formations, lakes, ponds and creeks. Excellent clubhouse facilities and accommodation superbly complement all of this.

Laemchabang with clients

I liked:
The course was in great shape.

Needs to improve:
I have never been asked to finish my round before the sun goes down at any course. Laemchabangs new rule of asking golfers to finish at 18.30 pm, despite there being another nearly 30 minutes of light is ridiculous. As a member for more than 25 years this is shortsighted and financially stupid for the club to do.

Early Morning Golf with Buddies

I liked:
The course is in fabulous shape. The front office staff and caddies were was always friendly and helpful.

Needs to improve:
Offer some a la carte menu items for lunch. Not everyone wants a buffet.
