The Pattaya Sports Club is a non profit organisation. The objectives of the club is to conduct and promote sports events and contribute to local charities. Pattaya Sports Club has now grown to over 40,000 members and there are over 11,000 active members on the roles. What started as an occasional golf outing among friends is now daily golf competitions, darts, bowling, soft ball events and regularly scheduled fishing.

The Pattaya Sports Club is a registered, government recognized, non-profit organization. Every year, the Pattaya Sports Club contributes a significant sum of money to organizations that house, feed, and care for children's basic requirements; teach disabled people enterprising skills so they may become self-sufficient; provide scholarships, school uniforms, books, and meals to youngsters who would otherwise be unable to attend school; improve public schools and orphanages, and much more.

The PSC Membership Card allows you to save money at golf courses and other locations around Pattaya including restaurants, hotel, resorts and entertainment venues. At only 900 baht for the year it is a very cost effective membership and members often save this fee in their very first week.
There are currently 12 active golf groups in the Pattaya area but this number has been well over 20 in the past. These golf groups play every day of the week between them so getting a game of golf has never been easier for the avid golfers. These groups are PSC affiliated which means you will be encouraged to join the Pattaya Sports Club before golfing with them.
Like Birdie Thailand the Pattaya Sports Club (PSC) offer a free golf handicap. Also like Birdie Thailand the PSC is compliant with the World Handicapping System which they run through their own custom site. If you already have a golf handicap or you use Birdie Thailand it is still an idea to join the Pattaya Sports Club for the often exclusive golf discounts as well as the other reasons stated in this list.
During the year, the Club runs a variety of charity golf tournaments that are only open to PSC members, as well as a number of other fundraising events. They also hold an annual Christmas party for the members which is always great fun.

The organisation is based in Pattaya and most of what they do is in Pattaya but discounts do extend to golf courses close to Bangkok like Royal Lakeside and Bangprakong. Pattaya is includes the surrounding areas like Jomtien beach.

Sometimes you can as many courses offer sports day discounts in the low seasons but certainly not always. PSC has been known to get exclusive deals which you would only know about if you were a member.
If you are living in Pattaya it is absolutely cost effective. You can save thousands of baht for just a few hundred baht. If you are just on your holidays for a few weeks than it probably isn't worth it unless you plan to play a lot of golf.
Yes, if you pop to their office the Thai staff who speak English are on hand to offer advice. Often if you hang around long often another member will be along to renew their membership and you can always ask them to answer your questions. Most would be more than happy to help
Yes you can. Any contribution would be greatly received and put to good use. Supporting local causes has always been a major aim of the club, and as it has expanded, so has the capacity to donate. Pattaya Sports Club's charitable donations have exceeded 30 million baht in the last 12 years.
The Pattaya Sports Club is always looking for volunteers, you can contact them direct, they have a variety of different roles and if there isn't a position available you may get a call in the future
